The Belief Behind The Mystical Galaxy
Sheshan and Rakshana on belief, visualization, quantum curiosity, and why a crystal is a tool for focus — the honest idea behind The Mystical Galaxy.
We are Sheshan and Rakshana, the two people behind The Mystical Galaxy. We did not start with a business plan. We started with a question that would not leave us alone: why does holding an intention in your hand seem to change the way you carry it through the day?
For years we collected stones the way some people collect books — quietly, one at a time, each with a story. A piece of rose quartz from a trip. A black tourmaline kept by the front door. We noticed something we could not explain away as coincidence. On the mornings we paused, held a stone, and named what we wanted the day to become, the day genuinely felt different. Not magic. Attention.
That is where our belief begins, and it is an honest one. We do not claim a crystal cures anything. What we have come to trust is the loop between belief, visualization, and energy — the very ordinary, very powerful way the mind shapes the life around it. Psychologists call it intention and attention. Physicists, at the strangest edge of the quantum world, describe a reality where the observer is never fully separate from the observed — where attention itself seems to take part in what unfolds. We are not scientists, and we will never dress superstition up as physics. But we find it beautiful that the oldest spiritual instinct — that focus shapes reality — keeps echoing in the newest science.
A crystal, for us, is a tool for that focus. It is a tactile anchor for visualization. When you hold a cool, smooth stone and picture the calm, the courage, or the clarity you are reaching for, you give an abstract intention a physical home. You are far more likely to return to a promise you can feel in your palm. The "energy" of a crystal, in the way we mean it, is the energy you bring to it — and the energy of the small ritual you build around it.
The Mystical Galaxy exists to make that practice clear instead of confusing. The world of crystals can feel gatekept and overwhelming — a thousand stones and a hundred contradictory claims. We wanted the opposite: ethically sourced stones, an honest guide card with every order, and one simple instruction. Choose an intention. Choose a stone. Take five quiet seconds each morning. Begin.
Everything here — the chakra sets, the rune stones, the meaning cards, the rituals — is built around that single promise. We want people to genuinely understand how belief, visualization, and the gentle ritual of crystals can work together to shift how a day feels, and slowly, how a life feels.
We build this under the guidance of KR, who taught us that the most powerful technology is still a focused human mind. If something here helps you pause, picture, and begin — even once — then The Mystical Galaxy has done exactly what we hoped. — Sheshan & Rakshana
